Low Sugar Apple Crumble With Our Famous KOJA Oat Bars

Is this not the easiest dessert you've ever seen? This will cure those dessert cravings in just under 10 minutes, whilst still being low in sugar!

This KOJA Apple Crumble is not only delicious but also a healthier, lower in sugar option, full of apples which have many benefits. Apples are not only an excellent source of fibre and contain an abundance of vitamins and minerals, but they also contain a healthy quantity of natural sugars to keep your energy levels optimal, which make them the perfect ingredient.

What sets apples aside from some of our other favourite fruits is that they contain high amounts of prebiotic fibres. Prebiotic-rich foods help to nourish your healthy gut bugs. That’s a sign that the prebiotics are doing their job and fermenting nicely in your gut.

Low sugar Apple Crumble Recipe 

Ingredients 

  1. KOJA Oat Bar - your choice of flavour
  2. 1 large or 2 small Apples

Method

  1. Peel and Slice Apples
  2. Cook apples in boiling water until soft 
  3. Place apples into a small ramekin and crumble your choice of KOJA Oat bar on top
  4. Place in oven on 180 degrees for 8 minutes
  5. Enjoy with Greek yoghurt!
