Our Top Brunch Recipes For Father's Day

Take the time and effort to make Dad or your partner a beautiful breakfast or brunch. It's such a thoughtful gift, and one we're sure they'll appreciate a bit more than another pair of novelty socks for Father's Day.
Here's our top 3 man-friendly, easy, healthy brunch recipes that even the whole family can enjoy!

Protein Pancakes

Perfect on a Sunday morning for those men with a sweet tooth! This is a great healthy alternative to those shaker pancakes that are usually packed with sugar, preservatives and additives. These Protein Pancakes with Peanut Caramel are sugar free, gluten free and a great source of protein with 15g per serve to keep Dad full.

What you need: (Serves 2)

For the Peanut Caramel

  • 3 Tbs of 100% Peanut Butter (we used crunchy)
  • 3 Tbs of Organic Rice Malt Syrup (or real Maple Syrup)
  • 1 Tbs of Coconut Oil
  • Toppings: Chopped banana and crushed roasted peanuts. 
How to: 
Make the pancakes according to instructions  Add the peanut butter, rice malt syrup and coconut oil to a small saucepan and heat on low to gently combine. Top with chopped banana and crushed roasted peanuts.


"Hole In One" Breakfast Jars

These are great if you want to make your man breakfast in bed before heading out for a family catch up or game of golf. They can also be made in advance and just grabbed from the fridge in the morning - great if Sunday mornings are busy with kids!

What you need:

  • Jars or Glasses to serve
  • Natural / Greek or Coconut Yoghurt 
  • Fresh Fruit - chopped
  • Berries (fresh or frozen- defrost before serving)

    In a jar, alternate layers of yoghurt, with slices of fresh fruit, such as bananas, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruit or orange.

    Eggs on Sourdough, Free Range Bacon & Smashed Avocado

    What you need:

    • A fresh loaf of good quality Sourdough bread
    • Ripe Avocados
    • Feta cheese
    • Free Range Eggs
    • Free Range Bacon
    • Salt & Pepper
    How to:
    Smash up your avocado with pieces of feta together with a fork. Place this onto some sourdough toast, along cooked bacon, and carefully slide a poached egg or two on top. If poached eggs aren't your thing, try them boiled, fried or scrambled to his liking.  Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, add a sprinkle of Himalayan sea salt and pepper, and for something extra special, top with KOJA Chilli, Coconut & Pecan for extra Protein and Crunch!
