What is the texture like of your Peanut Butter bars?

They're creamy and soft and melt in your mouth. KOJA Peanut Butter Bars resemble a cookie dough-like texture. They're best kept in a cool dry place, and in warmer climates, they can be kept in the fridge.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! Our online orders arrive packed in cardboard boxes (no plastic satchels) and protected with recyclable kraft paper wrapping. These can be recycled with your cardboard recycling at home. Our bar wrappers can be returned to soft plastic recycling collection at your local supermarket. Minimising waste is something we’re passionate about at KOJA. Overall the best thing we do for the environment is our commitment to 100% vegan products, therefore reducing the environmental impact from growing our ingredients.

Does KOJA use Australian Grown Ingredients?

KOJA is 100% Australian owned and made and prioritises Australian grown ingredients. We will continue to only source imported ingredients where there is an emphasis on organic and fair trade.

Where are KOJA Bars Stocked?

You can purchase KOJA Bars right here on our website, in the health aisle of Woolworths Stores Australia Wide, select IGA Supermarkets and health food stores or alternatively Click here for our full list of Stockists.

Who formulates your bar recipes?

KOJA Founder Kate creates all of the recipes with assistance from the KOJA Product Development Team, including our dietitian. All our KOJA products start at the kitchen bench where we use only wholefoods to create these delicious snacks. Kate’s background working at a Nutrition supplement company for elite athletes gave her a unique insight into the nasties that unfortunately go into so many “health” products. That’s what motivated her to create KOJA, and commit to real and nutritious ingredients only. No nasties here!

Why can’t you label the Oat Bars as Gluten Free?

Whilst our Oat Bars are wheat free, we cannot label them as Gluten Free. Oats are naturally gluten free, but here in Australia, labelling laws do not allow products that use Australian grown Oats to be labelled as ‘Gluten Free’.

This is because during the growing and processing of oats, there is a concern that they may be contaminated by gluten-containing grains such as wheat, rye or barley. This means Australian Oats may contain very small detectable amounts of Gluten and can therefore not be labeled as Gluten Free. If you are gluten intolerant or suffer from Coeliac Disease, please seek guidance from your doctor or dietitian to determine if you can safely consume Australian oats.

Our Peanut Butter Bars are 100% Gluten Free.

What is the best way to store KOJA Bars?

As with most food products, KOJA bars are best stored in a cool dry place, below 25 C.

If your bars softened during transit, simply pop them in a cool place such as the fridge as soon as possible (or alternatively, devour them straight away!).

Where are KOJA Bars manufactured?

All of our bars are manufactured in regional Victoria. We have a quality assurance team onboard to ensure each and every bar remains the highest of qualities from our commercial kitchen to your front door.

Are KOJA Bars Vegan?

They certainly are! All of our bars are plant-based and are appropriate for individuals following a vegan or vegetarian diet.

Are the Peanut Butter bars keto-friendly?

If you are following a ketogenic or low carbohydrate diet, KOJA peanut butter bars can be consumed. Limit to one serve per day.

Are KOJA Bars Organic?
